Welcome to Resources & Program Planning.
| In Niagara, home child care matters Home child care is an extremely popular option with families and an important part of Niagara's overall child care mix. The Regional Municipality of Niagara Children's Services Department invests in home child care providers by providing tuition subsidies for professional development programming coordinated by ECCDC. It also helps offset the costs associated with a number of other services the ECCDC offers members of the home child care community. This provides families in Niagara with greater choice and flexibility in child care and makes it easier for the area's home child care providers to deliver top quality. |
HOME
CHILD CARE PROVIDERS
The ECCDC welcomes both licensed and informal home child care providers
and offers a variety of products and services designed to meet your
specific needs.
As an ECCDC Individual Member, you're automatically
entitled to use our specialized program planning workroom, and to
access our resource lending library where you can borrow your choice
of over 3,000 items designed to help children learn. You'll also
be eligible to advertise your services in the Child Care Choices
online registry free of charge and to save on equipment and supplies
by being part of our group purchasing program.
Working from home can be an isolating experience,
so the ECCDC makes a special effort to reach out to home child care
providers, notifying you of child care events that may interest
you, coordinating home child care networking parties across the
region, offering business start-up and management information, and
maintaining an online discussion forum so you can easily and conveniently
connect and share ideas with other members of Niagara's home child
care community. |
