Keeping the learning environment rich with unique and engaging educational materials is easy when you're a member of the ECCDC. Our lending library offers more than 3000 toys, games and activities that you can borrow one day and integrate into your daily program plan the next. All of our lending library items are designed for use by a range of ages and abilities and have been selected to stimulate children's imaginations, language, and cognitive development and advance their self-help skills and social and emotional growth. Delight them with living habitats complete with butterflies, chicks, or lady bugs; a kid-sized telephone booth that looks just like the real thing; an lemonade stand for budding entrepreneurs, or all of the dramatic play gear needed for a backyard barbecue.
Using the ECCDC's lending library means you can be sure you're delivering meaningful experiences that promote a lifelong love of learning and set the stage for children's success in school. It also means you save time and money, since the ECCDC takes care of the repairs, maintenance, and cleaning. We even do special orders upon request, so if ever there's a learning resource you'd like to use and it isn't part of our collection, please tell us. And don't forget, if you call ahead, we can have your library items ready for pick-up at the time you specify.
Program planning ideas for children of all ages
Instead of wracking your brain to come up with exciting new learning experiences for the children in your care, simply stop in, call or e-mail the ECCDC with the themes, classroom topics, or concepts you'd like to cover. Our experts will take it from there, pulling together exactly the right resources and getting them ready for pick-up. We'll even include suggestion sheets about how to use the items and tips you can share with parents to reinforce the learning process at home.
Affordable access to die-press machines, shape cutters and other specialized equipment
The inspiring, resource-rich surroundings and knowledgeable staff of the ECCDC workroom make it easy for you to develop engaging, play-based learning experiences for the children in your care. Whether you stop by for a few minutes or bring along a colleague and make an evening of it, you won't find a better selection of die-press shapes or specialty papers anywhere. We also offer access to laminators, colour photocopier & printer, button-makers and a host of other equipment items.
Online Lending Library Catalogue
ECCDC members enjoy access to a lending library of more than 3,000 educational toys and games, classroom equipment items, curriculum kits, books and other tools to help children learn. You may browse the library online and use our handy checklist tool to keep track of your selections. When you're done, print your Program Planning Resource List so you can refer to it when you visit our Centre or call us to prepare your order.

Die Collection Catalogue
New on our website is our Die Collection Catalogue which totals over 400 dies, not including 3 alphabet sets, 1 sign language alphabet and 3 number sets. ECCDC also offers its group members the opportunity to borrow a die press kit and use it at your centre for up to two weeks at a time. Each of our four traveling kits includes one die press machine, letters, numbers and a variety of shape cutters. Just be sure to book ahead.
