Esteem is published quarterly and lists all upcoming training offered by the ECCDC including:

• Legislative Core Training,
• Quality Child Care Niagara (QCCN) Core and Related Training, and
• Professional Development and Leadership Training targeted to the specialized needs of
  • early childhood educators and primary school teachers;
  • centre and home child care staff and providers;
  • child care supervisors, managers,
  • executive directors, owners and boards of directors; and
  • other early learning and child care professionals.

Network Manuals

• Network Facilitation Manual- intended as a guide and orientation to the functioning and structure of various networks for specific areas of focus in the field of early learning and child care.
• Network Orientation Manual - a guide and orientation to network groups. It is meant for use by network members to give them a broader understanding of their involvement and responsibilities as a network member.
• Customized Consultation Services for Developing and Implementing Networks - the ECCDC is able to offer your community organization with consultation advice and training related to establishing, developing and facilitating networks.

Occupational Standards Checklists

Used to self-identify areas of strengths and needs according to the tasks and rating scale outlined in the Occupation Standards for Child Care Administrators and the Occupational Standards for ECEs. Available in both English and French.

Mentoring DVD

Nurturing Growth for Both...and Beyond is an information resource outling the Mentoring Pairs for Child Care program and offering ideas for building or continuing the mentoring learning momentum.
