Biography - Christina Ramanauskas

Christina is a Registered Early Childhood Educator recently hired by the Early Childhood Community Development Centre in the position of Training and Resource Administrative Assistant. Christina previously was employed with the ECCDC in the part time position of Early Learning and Child Care Resource Consultant. In her new role, Christina is responsible for supporting the administrative needs related to all advertised training, customized training and special events (including the Awards of Excellence and other community initiatives). Christina is also responsible for supporting the Resource Lending Library through group membership processing, resource and supply ordering and specialized equipment maintenance.

Christina graduated from Niagara College in 2005 from the Early Childhood Education Program and has held a variety of positions within Niagara’s early learning and child care sector. Christina began her career working directly with children within licensed child care programs and then her career advanced as she took on the role of assistant supervisor and child care centre supervisor; where she enjoyed participating in a variety of networks and committees which enabled her to continue her own professional growth and development. Christina is a past member of the Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario- Niagara Branch Executive, Quality Child Care Niagara Advisory Committee, Niagara Child Care Sector Advisory Committee and is currently a part of our Niagara “Continuing the Momentum” Mentoring Group where she mentors her colleagues.

Christina is a life long learner who is always thrilled to have new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally and has a true passion for early learning and child care. Christina is currently enrolled in an 18 month process where she is working towards becoming a certified member with the Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario.
