Biography - Jennifer Mosher

Jennifer Mosher is a Registered Early Childhood Educator who graduated from Niagara College's Early Childhood Education Program in 2007. Jennifer has been employed with the Early Childhood Community Development Centre since April 2007. In her current position of Early Learning and Child Care Resource Consultant, Jennifer supports educators in accessing developmentally appropriate resource materials through the ECCDC Resource Lending Library and offers guidance in using the specialized workroom equipment and curriculum materials for designing unique early learning environments.
 
In her role, Jennifer is also responsible for processing training and special event registrations, promoting upcoming workshops, supporting guest presenters and in preparing all of our play based learning kits and educational materials for borrowing. Jennifer is able to showcase her creative talents and knowledge of early childhood development through all of the exciting workroom displays and Grab and Go Learning Centre Activities for sale that she designs and through all of the suggestions she provides to ECCDC members in utilizing the specialized equipment in designing unique early learning environments for young children. Jennifer is also one of the voices that parents and home child care practitioners hear when they contact the ECCDC to access information regarding local Early Learning and Child Care Choices. 
 
Jennifer Mosher had always dreamed of working with children, however during her last year of high school she was introduced to accounting and computers and discovered she had a 'knack for numbers' and an interest in learning more about computer systems. In 1993 Jennifer enrolled at CompuCollege School of Business in Nova Scotia and graduated in 1994 with a diploma in Accounting and Microcomputer Business Applications. Realizing her life long dream of working within the early learning and education sector, Jennifer changed her focus of studies and applied to the Early Childhood Education program at Niagara College in 2005 when she moved from Nova Scotia to Ontario, in search of new opportunities.
 
Jennifer is available to support you with Child Care Choices, Training Registration and the Resource Lending Library and is excited to share all of the unique educational materials, training opportunities and services that the ECCDC’s has to offer.
