Professional development for ECEs, Teachers and other early learning and child care professionals
The ECCDC is proud to offer a range of professional services and trainings designed to meet your group’s specific needs and individual professional goals. Take a look at some of what we can offer!
If your goals include enhancing your earning potential, increasing your professional knowledge, boosting your motivation level, or growing your network of professional contacts, you can count on the ECCDC to make the most of your valuable time. We offer specialized training for early childhood educators and primary school teachers; centre and home child care staff and providers; child care supervisors, managers, executive directors, owners and boards of directors; and other early learning and child care professionals. ECCDC senior staff bring forty plus years of experience to this work and our comprehensive list of consulting, facilitation and customized training services provide creative, proven ‐ effective solutions.
Esteem
Every month, the ECCDC offers more than a dozen professional development seminars, workshops and training sessions at its 3340 Schmon Parkway, Thorold, location and at various partner locations around the region. All professional development opportunities are published in Esteem, produced quarterly.
The goal of every ECCDC professional development program is to give you practical ideas you can put into practice use as soon as you return to your workplace. More advanced learners appreciate that every session includes plenty of time for questions and that the materials we provide are designed to allow them to dig even deeper into the subject matter, and to share what they’ve learned with their colleagues. Our instructors are experienced, professional and have been carefully screened before being included on the ECCDC’s roster of expert presenters.
