RECE OR Diploma in Child and Youth Care OR Diploma in Recreation adn Leisure Services OR OCT in good standing
2+ years of experience in the child care field
Current First Aid and CPR-C
Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Check within 6 months **or current based on employment
Immunizations are up-to-date as per Medical Officer of Health
Asset – Safe Food Handler Certification
Asset – Quality Child Care Niagara Training
Asset – Child Care and Early Years Act Self-Test – Schedule 1

A successful candidate will be responsible for the:
• day to day operations of the Before and After School Program at St. Philomena Catholic Elementary School
• supervising and mentoring educators
• establish and maintain positive relationships with families, children, educators, host site staff and community partners
• ability to apply the requirements of the Ministry of Education, Public Health and other governing requirements including Way To Learn Daycare's Policy and Procedures
• work collaborately with other supervisors, Quality and Licensing Specialist, Registration and Administration Specialist, Child Care Director and other Way To Learn Daycare employees.
