Type: In-Person

In a technologically saturated world, how can we nurture the next generation’s connection to nature, community, and responsibility for the Earth?

Join environmental educator and award-winning author Jacob Rodenburg for an inspiring and practical workshop based on his new book, The Wild Path Home. Grounded in science-based research, outdoor education practice, and Indigenous wisdom, this interactive session introduces the Pathway to Stewardship & Kinship, a developmental framework designed to help children and youth grow into caring, capable Earth stewards.

Through stories, discussion, and hands-on activities, participants will explore ways to foster wonder, empathy, and environmental responsibility in early childhood. This workshop offers practical strategies to help young people build meaningful relationships with the natural world and their communities.

Participants will leave with creative ideas for outdoor learning, mentorship approaches that build resilience and confidence, and tools to help children develop lifelong stewardship values.

Registration fee includes lunch. Please indicate attendee(s) allergy or food restriction details in the Additional Information/Notes area of the registration.
