Gardening With Kids: From Seed to Table
An inspiring evening in the garden to learn strategies for creating planters with herbs and edibles with children. Participants learned how to use garden food in their programs and offer young children an edible experience.
Our workshop facilitator, Jane Hayes/Garden Jane, shared design ideas and tips for getting started. Jane walked us through some hands-on gardening activity ideas to use within early learning and child care programs. Participants had opportunity to ask questions about their own gardening projects or how to start an edible garden within the context of our own early learning spaces.
