Katie-Lynn Parkinson is a part of ECCDC's Training and Events Team. Katie-Lynn is a Registered Early Childhood Educator who graduated from the Early Childhood Education Program at Conestoga College. She brings over a decade of experience in working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Katie-Lynn has a clear understanding of aligning practices with the Child Care and Early Years Act, (2014), has gained strategies for implementing How Does Learning Happen? Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years and has experience in bringing emergent curriculum to life using innovative observation and documentation strategies. Katie-Lynn has worked as a part of Pedagogical Leadership Team, supporting colleagues with implementing emergent practices and is an enthusiastic and passionate advocate for children.
